RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

Building Maintenance -

Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments to include digital multimeters for electrical testing. Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.

Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly including the inspection of motors, drives and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions following schedules and checklists. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them using repair manuals as necessary. Ensure building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate and make repairs as necessary.

Assemble, install, or repair basic wiring and electrical components. Repair general lavatory and kitchen plumbing. Install piping for pneumatic equipment.

Record and report all maintenance performed either manually or using a computerized maintenance system.

General knowledge of heat pumps, heating systems, low pressure boilers and cooling towers.

Accustomed to following procedures and codes.

Experience with person up scissors lift.
