WVLA NBC33 News / WGMB Fox44 News, Reporter (present) ; Producer Fall 2011- Summer 2012

Write packages. Film and edit my own stories for shows. Do live reports. Cultivate sources. Host, write, shoot, edit ‘Losing it in Louisiana’ a weight loss segment. Wrote and produced the 5pm and 10pm news. Conceived and executed news coverage, coordinated reporters, field crews, and assignment desk staff while communicating with production staff and management to break news and live shots. Crimestoppers Greater New Orleans, Social Media Coordinator 2010 to Present

Manage social media campaigns. Organized the Crimestoppers Teen Peace Summit social media including a Twitter campaign that reached the top trending spot for the city of New Orleans during the beginning of the production. Volunteered from 2002 to 2010.Assisted in running information sessions at community fairs and events. Ran public relations at program fundraisers. Walked neighborhoods to raise awareness about stopping crime.Tiger T.V. Reporter Fall 2007- Spring 2008

Generated story ideas. Contacted and interviewed people related to assigned story. Filmed and edited interviews and other footage necessary to the story. Wrote a scripts and reported stories on air. Specialized in political and crime stories.

Duties included answering telephones, filing books and setting up class rooms. Managed the welfare and cleanliness of the classroom. Chaperoned students ranging from ages seven to eighteen. Worked part-time during high school and college.

Skills
