PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
As a professional stills photographer Jeremy has developed a broad range of commercial clients from 2009 including several film
industry companies and productions alongside documentary work and commercial businesses. Freelance assignments have resulted in
opportunities to photograph across a range of disciplines, producing work that has been formally published, extensively used online in
new media and in print across several national newspapers and magazines.
Producing stills images throughout his successful fifteen-year career in feature film production has enabled Jeremy to experience and
learn from amongst the greatest professionals in the world, included amongst which were numerous stills photographers and lighting
cameramen. During this time Jeremy travelled extensively across Europe and worldwide, always with a camera close at hand. With a
Certificate of Higher Education in Photography, Jeremy continues to study all forms of photography with the Open College of the Arts,
through his Licentiateship at the Royal Photographic Society, alongside a formal Degree with the University of the Creative Arts.
As a feature film freelancer, Jeremy has worked on numerous movies including Gulliver s Travels, Kick Ass, Harry Potter & The Chamber
of Secrets, Tomb Raider, 102 Dalmatians, The World is Not Enough, Star Wars, Tomorrow Never Dies, Entrapment and Goldeneye,
working both in the UK and abroad. With a versatile background, Jeremy continues to consult commercially, focusing upon business
affairs, design and marketing and extending to the development of specific feature film projects, including aspects relating to scheduling
and budgeting.
As Consultant Managing Director of Elstree Studios, throughout 2008, alongside overall governance of the business, evaluation of
strategies and opportunities, key responsibilities included preparation and recommendations on all major transactions, creation and
direction of commercial contracts, budgets, forecasts, and HR legal elements. A twelve-month fixed term consultancy to appraise and
renew the established company Elstree Film Studios Ltd. Versatile management skills and experience enabled Jeremy to deliver a
significant increase in turnover and profitability ensuring Elstree experienced its highest performance year ever. Good yields allowed
significant capital investment into the business. Supervising the team of professionals marketing and operating the Studios, Jeremy built
upon the established Elstree profile whilst re-branding for the next decade.
Appointed Studio Director of Ealing Studios in 2002, Jeremy directed all elements of the Studio s operations for over five years; ensuring
ongoing independent physical production at the Studios whilst remaining involved in the development, production and sales of a
catalogue of feature film and drama credits including those for Ealing - Valiant, Alien Autopsy, Imagine Me and You, Fade to Black, I
Want Candy and St Trinian s . Turnover of the Studio business increased by approximately three hundred percent of that in 2002.
Supervising two phases of a consented fifty million pound redevelopment including fifty thousand square feet of new build alongside
refurbishment of the production space and stages, Jeremy was also heavily involved with the planning and execution of the construction
projects.
Throughout 2001, Jeremy consulted on the redevelopment of 3 Mills Studios, London, an eight million pound design and investment in
the construction of fifteen sound stages and associated production facilities. Successfully promoted to the marketplace, 3 Mills became
a preferred Studio to some significant Producers and Production companies alike including independent producers for television drama.
As Assistant Location Manager on Goldeneye from 1994 to 1995, Jeremy became involved in the design and construction of Leavesden
Studios. Remaining at Leavesden, he helped secure the foreign investment for a continuation of the facility and during preliminary joint
venture discussions with Twentieth Century Fox; Leavesden accommodated the pre-production of James Cameron's Titanic and the
filming of Mortal Kombat Annihilation. Lucasfilm having expressed interest in the Studios during the course of Goldeneye, confirmed The
Phantom Menace in 1996. In that October, Jeremy was invited by Eon Productions to develop and location manage Park Street Studios
for the production of Tomorrow Never Dies, a 2 million temporary studio incorporating 25,000 sq. ft. of sound stages, workshops, back-
lot, edit and associated production facilities.
Involved in a number of wider initiatives within the UK Motion Picture Industry Jeremy has formerly held board positions on the
Production Guild of Great Britain, the Screen Academy at the London College of Communications; as member of the Filming in London
Partnership Committee, and also chaired the West London Creative Industries Strategy in 2006 and 2007 helping establish the Business
Improvement District in Ealing.
