Worked As, Instructor/Programmer in the Department of Computer Science and

Engineering, in the JSS Polytechnic for the Differently Abled, Mysore, for about 3 years.

Responsibilities and Works undertaken:

Developed and maintained software programs for the office of the institution. Before

developing the software, they were doing ma nually all the admission and examination hall

ticket related works especially in the admission process, sorting the candidates merit wise.

Various listings were created and were implemented easily. In the examination hall ticket

generation process, the candidates list was given by accessing the applications of candidates.

The hall tickets were printed easily without having to fill out each field individually. Just, they

needed to the tick marks and selected subject code will be printed.

Had been in-charge of a Computer Lab. I have done software installations and maintenance of

softwares. I have installed softwares such as Visual Studio.Net, Oracle, SQL Server, Windows

7, Antivirus softwares.

I had been the guide for various final year student level projects. I had been actively involved

in teaching the students in their coding activity. The project My Blogs had won the 1st prize

in the state level Do-it-Yourself competition during the year 2010. The project Employee Time

and Work Management System had won 4th prize in National Level competi tion held during

the year 2010. These projects were guided by me.

Worked As, a freelancer from 2002 to 2007, prepared package for admission and pay roll

maintenance for Besant School, Mangalore and also did Technical Writing.

About myself

Professionally, I am now running a small software venture called as ICan

Technologies . We have developed website for SJCE STEP (website:

www.sjcestep.in). We have also developed a learning resource on the web known as

Programming Basics. It teaches one the fundamentals of programming, basics of

various programming concepts and various programming languages and about the

computers too (website: www.programmingbasics.in). We are looking forward to

bring a product known as Centralized Student Management System and Employee

Time, Work and Pay Roll Management System . The products are under

development.

As a pass time hobby, I have developed a habit of writing technical and non -

technical articles. Most of it has got published in the http://www.vistahunt.com. I

was doing freelancing job also, during my B.Sc.(IT). At that time, I have done a

couple of projects for Besent School, Mangalore. I have also prepared some projects

to B.E. students also. Prior to freelancing, I have worked as a programmer and also

as a team member of quality assurance team in Excel soft Technologies, Hootaglly

Industrial Area, Mysore, for a period of 1.5 years from at the end of 2000. Prior to

work in Excel soft Technologies, Mysore, I started my career, by working in JSSPPH

from 1998 for the period of about 2.5 years.

On 28th September, 2008, GSB Mahasabha, Mysore, felicitated me as a part of the

teacher s day celebrations, during the day of their monthly Shree Sathyanarayana

Pooja function.

On 11th December, 2006, I was felicitated by the All India Institute of Speech and

Hearing, Manasagangotri, Mysore, on the occasion of celebrating the World Disabled

day. His Holiness Shree Shree Jagadguru Shivaratriswara Deshikendra Maha

Swamigalavaru of Suttur Mutt had graced the occasion.
