Field Service Engineer Provide on-site Technical Product support or installation

Install, troubleshoot and maintain Laerdal ALS, BLS and simulation equipment.

Install hardware and software configurations, Install, troubleshoot and maintain computer systems, hardware and peripherals

Identifies, analyzes and repairs product failures, orders replacement parts as required

Provide technical product training and basic user functionality training to customer base when required

Responsible for the maintenance and service of the customer's mail processing, sorter, enduro, and insert

equipment. Performed service on plastic cards system, programming, installation, maintenance and updated new software as needed. Performed electrical setup, installation, and programming on equipment as needed. I was selected to receive extensive training throughout the United States and Germany. After receiving that honor I traveled for several years to our locations in Indianapolis, Dallas, Raleigh as well as Memphis to work and train employees on how to operate and service equipment. Also was a team lead in Indianapolis for three years. Also developed a relationship with customer, which lead to new sale of products we had. Duties include testing magboards for defects, helping the customer with developing a system that would help in their production, and rebuilding the electrical system when problems occur. Received awards for helping the company the saving $75,000 a year on parts usage. Also help in the process of making changes to the machine design on the mail processing system to save about $100,000 in part and man power needed to run the system more efficiency.
