requirements and
provide status of effort. Directly led effort to develop and integrate a digital video
frame capture system
using IEEE-1394b as the transport technology.
Principal Software Engineer, 2002-2004
Developed and reviewed software and system architectures for programs, specifically
focusing on imagery
and video systems. Contributing member of senior software staff (steering committee),
which set the goals,
objectives, and standards of the software engineering department. Developed workstation
and software
architecture for a proposal to build a multi-sensor aircraft. Provided software estimates
for ROMs and
proposals using bottoms-up and COCOMO-II methods. Developed and presented technical

related to current efforts to engineering staff. Completed program task to architect and

aircraft platforms. Designed software architecture to integrate RADAR, GPS/INS, and video
gimbal into

engineering teams

Successfully completed all milestones associated with the Airborne Video Surveillance

option years of contract. Responsible for testing video geolocation technologies using
video collected from
an airborne platform and DPPDB ground reference data. Engineered and led the effort to
add two Canon
XL-1 (480P) cameras into the airborne platform to collect data for NIMA.
Senior Software Engineer, 1999-2002
Coordinated with the three other program contractors in order to determine common
software interfaces for
system-level communication between processes. Contributed to program presentations.
Developed a
digital video frame server that digitized video data coming through an airborne datalink
and distributed that
video to other system processes. Provided video and imagery consultation through
presentations and
reviews with other project teams.

Developed imagery collection software for the AVS program, focused on developing video
collection and
exploitation technologies that could be deployed onto UAVs. Contributing member of the
systems
integration team, leading the design and construction of the ground system used in the
