The aim of the project is to get the summaries from documents, project them on to multi-dimensions and

find the relations between them using principles of Data Mining and Machine Learning.

Project: Segments Dashboard

o Made a tool which provides metrics for Bing s performance for custom scenarios which are defined

using query entity information obtained using Bing s query classifier.

o Also created the infrastructure to run the tool on a daily pipeline and also use it on the fly.

Software Intern at Prime Technologies, Mumbai May- July 2011

Project: Hob precision tester

o Prime Technologies was designing software to check the precision of mechanical machine parts like

hobs and gears.

o Worked in the team which designed and implemented top level structure of the code and made a plug-

in to check the precision of hobs.

Speech Based Servant Bot Guide: Prof Kavi Arya (2012)

Programmed a firebird bot to obey speech commands with the help of an android device

o Speech detection is done by android device using Pocket Sphinx library for android

o The translated speech commands are sent to the firebird bot using Bluetooth which the bot

executes

Academic Program Guide Guide: Prof Sudarshan (2011)

Developed a web based tool using java servlets and PostgreSQL which guides students to choose courses

based on their interests, requirements to complete their degree. It includes the following.

o Search for courses based on tags given by students.

o Profiles for students and professors.

o Bookmarking of courses which student wishes to do later.

o Notifications for course updates.

Virtual Memory and File System Simulator Guide: Prof. DM Dhamdhere (2011)

Created a simulator for virtual memory and file system of an OS in C programming language.

Travelling Sales Man Problem solver Guide: Prof. Om Damani (2010)

Points are taken as inputs through a graphical interface. Hamiltonian paths that approximately solve the

travelling salesman problem are shown.

o Implemented 5 algorithms that give approximate solution to TSP in C++.

o Represented the paths in a complete graphical interface using GLUI and GLUT.

MinPaint Guide : Prof. Amitabha Sanyal (2010)

Created a minimal paint software in Scheme (a functional programming language)

o It works similar to any paint software with drawing tools like brush tool, paint bucket, color etc.

o Made use of the graphics libraries of Dr-Scheme to achieve this.
