Responsible for all aspects of the relationship between IT, Supply Chain, and global

Procurement functions including communicating business requirements to other leaders

within IT and conveying IT initiatives to business leaders. Responsibilities included:

Large-scale project/change management, assessment and prioritization of project requests,

and directional leadership of the IT applications development staff and Program Management

Office.

Collaborated with the business to develop IT Strategic Plans and a deployment roadmap for

Supply Chain systems, including the implementation strategy for the SAP tools and multiple

best of breed solutions. The result was the elimination of multiple legacy systems, a one-

time savings of $20 million, and a common solution across the business.

Served as a member of a cross functional team to develop common processes for the

planning, production, logistics, and procurement functions utilizing LEAN concepts

enabling the integration of multiple supply chains (Foodservice, Retail, and DSD) into one

organization with first year savings exceeding $10 million.

Drove strategic planning for technology-related solutions and advised the business on

emerging technology solutions and business trends as the sole IT participant on the

leadership teams for the Chief Procurement Officer and the Chief Supply Chain Officer

IT Applications Development (Supply Chain & ERP) (20052006)

Responsible for applications development and production support for the supply chain

applications portfolio and multiple ERP solutions including JD Edwards World and One

World, custom Direct Store Delivery system, Manhattan Associates Warehouse Management

System, and JDA Supply and Demand Planning, and Transportation Management systems.

Provided executive leadership and direction to a geographically diverse staff of 65 within

a budget of $34 million.

Served as the Supply Chain IT Leader with end-to-end accountabilities of the program to

implement SAP for the North American business, Siemens Manufacturing Execution System

(MES), and other supply chain technology solutions to execute transformational change for

corporate-wide processes. Directed the requirements and design phase. Project was

successfully delivered with no impact to customers and enabled benefits realization of

$102 million.

Provided leadership in the selection of an outsourcing partner for a mixed model of both

on-shore and off-shore support of the legacy systems, which freed up 20% of the internal

staff to work on the strategic SAP implementation. Participated in the creation of an RFP,

assessed and interviewed responders as part of the selection process.

Directed the transition to the outsource provider including documenting business

processes and executing application and business knowledge transfer.

Acted as a change agent in the design and execution of a re-organization effort to move

from a divisional IT structure to a consolidated corporate IT department.

Drove the execution of all IT activities related to the divestiture of the retail coffee

division including the creation of the transition services agreement, project and resource

plans, and project execution.

applications development, and production support for Direct Store Delivery and distributor

budget of $27 million, and assured compliance with all internal control requirements.

Developed strategic plans to insure that the IT investment was aligned with business key

objectives.

Oversight of the data center and infrastructure transition into a newly formed corporate

shared service model reducing the total spend of IT by several million dollars.

Directed the implementation of a state-of-the-art solution for the mobile workforce in

the delivery of products and services, which reduced operating cost, improved service, and

enhanced reporting for the DSD team.

Drove the creation of development plans for each staff member leading to enhanced

training and development of staff and resulting in a negligible turn over.

Senior Manager of Business Applications

(2000-2004)

Responsible for the design, implementation, user training and production support of the

JD Edwards ERP system and complementary products that manage the financial, distribution

and supply chain business processes. Directed a staff of 22 within a budget of $6 million.

Project manager for the IT integration of multiple business acquisitions and the end-to-

end business integration of a $100 million acquisition which was accomplished on time and

within budget.

(1995-2000)

Responsible for all aspects of the implementation of complex IT projects including

initial scope assessment, feasibility assessment, budget development, project work plans,

resource planning and scheduling, and status reports.
