Handled all functions related to the Montgomery County Performing Arts Society non-profit organization as the only paid employee for over two years.

Executive Director
Developed with the Executive Committee an annual plan of events for approval by the Board. Upon approval, negotiated contracts, and booked and presented attractions. Procured hotel and travel arrangements. Booked additional backline and sound as per contract negotiations. Was responsible for hospitality per event, which included green room requests and concession purchases etc.
In cooperation with the Vice President of Marketing, oversaw all marketing, public relations, and publicity activities, which included radio and newspaper advertising, programs and brochures. Prepared all marketing plans and materials with an eye toward audience development and community outreach.
Directed all financial operations of MCPAS, including donor relations, grants and contracts, management and fundraising activities. Developed, with the Finance Committee, the annual operating budget of the Society. Prepared budgets for each performance scheduled by MCPAS including but not limited to promotional advertisements, ticket pricing, marketing strategies and costs, and any other associated activities. Assisted the Board in developing and implementing a comprehensive plan for financing all programs and operations authorized by the Board or embodied within the approved budget. Ensured sound fiscal responsibility with the Treasurer through budgetary controls and financial reviews.
Conducted ongoing contributor and community support activities and appeals in cooperation with the Vice Presidents of Financial Development and Fundraising. Oversaw and managed MCPAS development efforts: corporate, foundation, government, individual fundraising, sponsorship requests, grant writing, individual giving campaigns, and other funding efforts.
Directed all administrative operations of MCPAS, in cooperation with the President and Executive Committee. Maintained, MCPAS database, including lists of season subscribers, society members, school and media contacts, and general mailing list. Worked with the Board President to plan board meetings and with board committees as necessary. Prepared agenda for board meetings in consultation with the President of the Board and attended board meetings, as requested.
Coordinated and assisted MCPAS volunteers and board committees to effectively maximize their resources and provided them with necessary information and guidance so that they may achieve their assigned goals and objectives.
Represented MCPAS to the public and the media and through arts community involvement, industry associations and relationship management.
