Senior Construction Inspector, US Air Force Civilian Contractor
As the Senior Construction Inspector I was expected to provide management on projects to include completing and logging daily project inspections, maintaining deficiency logs, and completing project closeouts, as well as transfer project documents to appropriate offices. Title II observed required tests conducted at the project site, and maintain electronic files and records to report on such tests, and review and provide recommendations as to the adequacy of the hard and/or CAD shop drawings and related equipment submittals. As the Lead Inspector I`m knowledgeable in all aspects of Structural practices, codes and testing equipment.

Project Manager
Managed the resources needed to implement projects on a 600-man camp for the Department of State. Maintained a budget in the amount of 14.7 million dollars and tracked all projects and spending though Microsoft Project and Excel spreadsheets. Wrote the scope of work for all projects due to the project being a design-build project. I built a 600-man camp while managing 234 employees.
* Built four pre-engineered buildings, 600 forty foot by ten foot caravans, motor shields for all 600 caravans (pre-engineered), built an electrical grid to include all switch gear and four 1.5 mega watt generators, installed a hundred thousand liter diesel tank, and a thousand man dining facility.
US NAVY SEABEES, Gulfport, MS 1992-2005
Seabee
Planned and Estimated material, manpower, and equipment requirements for various construction jobs. Performed scheduling, procurement, production control, and management reporting of construction projects. Performed tasks required for construction, maintenance, and repair of wooden, concrete, and masonry structures, concrete pavement, and waterfront and underwater structures. Places reinforcing steel; erects form members and strips forms; installs asphalt and vinyl floor coverings, interior wall coverings, door and window trim, moldings and glass; mixes, places, and finishes concrete; constructs masonry, metal, light wood frame.
* Building inspector for the Multi National Forces Iraq to include structures in the International Zone. I taught local nationals how to inspect, plan, estimate, and build to US code. I also worked with the Army Corp of Engineers, and USAID.
* Our battalion was engaged in War-time Construction. We constructed fourteen medium girder bridges, fixed seven runways, built a new runway for coalition forces, and maintained a supply route from Kuwait to Baghdad.
