This ongoing Online Book Store Project allows the customer to use the Internet connection

to do transactions such as Online Ordering and procurement of Books. This project was

based on eCRM of Business to Customer. Any bookshop can buy this product and use it.

Role:

Developed JSPs in the presentation layer which provides the user with the book details

JSP and Servlets combination was the heart of the application

This project involved providing enhancements needed to Web-Enable the Banking Product

'Bank of Mysore' by providing the customer with the basic facilities for Online Banking.

The Customer is provided with options to know the current bank balance status,

transactions made during a particular period and communication with the bank. Customer is

also provided with options to make requests for issue of checkbooks and drafts.

Used JDBC Thin Driver to communicate with ORACLE 8.0 databases.

Involved in the server side Bean component creation (EJB) based on the banking business

logic.

Involved in development of Entity Bean for customer account creation. The Entity Bean

interface is implemented in that Bean class file.

Used BMP (Bean Managed Persistence) for synchronized database transaction.

State full Session Beans were used in issue of Check books and Demand Drafts.

By viewing Customer transaction details, I implemented Session Bean interface for the

creation Stateless Session bean.

This Automation consists of purchase department, Stores department and Production

department. Whenever the material requirement arises the particular department sends the

requisitions to Store department. If the material is not in the stock then they will

request to Purchase department. The Purchase department places the order to the vendor.

After receipt of the goods/materials based on Delivery Chelan (DC), the Store will prepare

Goods Receipt Note (GRN). Then the requirement will be fulfilled.

Involved in the design and development of the above Material Management System.

Developed front-end screen for this application using Java JSP Using java.util.* package,

date & time are calculated for Material stock details.

Using JDBC, the database transaction queries are processed and the funds details are

stored in ORACLE.

Involved in the coding of Servlets classes for the maintenance of the database.

Designed client and server using RMI and generating RMI Registry, which enables the

client to access the remote system.

Created the detail screen, it shows the current stock of the raw Material items.

This module is designed to handle the various transactions related to the foreign

exchange in Banking with multi currency setup with variable decimal places. Monthly

revaluation of foreign currency position, position pad, purchase, realization and

crystallization of bills and corresponding posting of transactions in nostro and other

internal accounts in general ledger various reports related to FERA .
