Modelling Pipelined Parallelism in Heterogeneous Architectures
Worked on the problem of Pipeline based parallelism on GPUs and CPUs.In this we
used hardware parameters of programs to load balance the execution sequence on
these architectures at functional level Used: C, Python, IntelCompiler, Tbb Team

Characterizing Program Properties based on Genetic Algortihms
Using Genetic Algorithms, we extracted certain properties of program like recursion,
nested looping etc., and then use these results to create autotuner profile for
program B.Tech Honors Project under Dr. Suresh Purini. Used: Python, Vtune, C++

Computation of Eigen values of sparse matrices using parallel computation
on MPI
Developed and Implemented parallel algorithm for Computing Eigen values of large
sparse matrices stored in compressed storage formats. Implemented Power Iteration
algorithm for Message Passing Interface (MPI). Done as B.Tech Honors Project 1
under Dr. Kishore Kothapalli.

Hybridisation of Prefix Sum Algorithm
Designed and implemented a parallel algorithm for CUDA(gpu+cpu) to find prefix
sum of an array using double buffering Algorithms. The problem has large fine
grained data parallelism. Used: CUDA architecture Team Size: 2
Multi Lingual Search Engine using multi threading
Built a search engine that takes in input a search string in any language, convert
that string in several languages, search the web for all these different language
strings in parallel using multiple threads, convert all the results back to user s
language and display them after merging and applying page ranking. Done during
the programming competition, HackU, conducted by Yahoo.

Courier Portal
Developed a 3-tier web portal that will keep track of all the couriers received in
an organization. Advance searching, Search suggestion was provided using Ajax.
