Objective
To conduct research to tackle problems in airborne lidar applications using image processing
and pattern recognition techniques so as to both make contributions to and gain experience in
the field.
Research Interests
Pattern Recognition, Image Processing, Digital Signal Processing, Adaptive Signal
Processing, Remote Sensing (especially for laser ranging), Visibility Functions in Forests,
Fractal forest modeling, Feature selection, 3D point data segmentation.
