Responsible for management of the FHI Office of International Research Ethics which includes the operations of the Protection of Human Subjects Committee (PHSC), the development of training curricula in research ethics, and providing technical assistance and capacity building activities for IRBs at FHI research sites. In addition, the office supports research on research ethics and participates in the planning of national and international conferences on issues related to research ethics and IRB management. Finally, to identify general areas of collaboration with national and international agencies.
