Exploring Visual Self-localisation Algorithms for Mobile Platforms May-June 2010

The objective was to track the movement of a robot, given a sequence of stereo images taken from it.

Solved interest point detection, tracking, and camera pose and movement estimation.

Relevant Software: MATLAB, running on Linux (Ubuntu).

Coordinated Behaviour of Multiple mobile robots May-June 2009

The objective was to implement a military escort system using a few RovioTM robots from

WowWeeTM.

Wrote a driver for the RovioTM using Player/Stage software.

Implemented obstacle avoidance and localisation algorithms.

Relevant Software: Player/Stage, running on Linux (Ubuntu). All code was written in C++.
