Select Research Projects and Software Artefacts:

Delegate

Delegate is a proxy based architecture that allows secure website access from malware infested

machines. Delegate prevents key logging, session hijacking, shoulder surfing and password

sniffing attacks.

The research results of this work were published in the ACSAC 06 conference.

I also developed a prototype of the system to confirm its feasibility.

DataGuard

DataGuard is an interoperable security middleware that provide a file system like interface on top

of the storage offered by the Internet based data storage providers like Amazon S3 service.

I designed and developed this system.

Some of the results will be presented in the EDBT 08 demo track.

A prototype of the system can be accessed at http://DataGuard.ics.uci.edu.

DataVault

DataVault is a service architecture where data sharing requirements are outsourced to an

untrusted service provider.

We propose techniques and algorithms that allow authentication, data storage and distribution

via an untrusted server.

The research results are currently available as a technical report and a prototype of system can be

accessed at http://www.ics.uci.edu/~rjammala/DataVault/ .
