My assignment as a senior DBA included

installing, designing, administering &

tuning multiple 24x7 large production

databases running PeopleSoft

Applications (HR & Financials), Data

Warehouse application& various other

applications.

My major accomplishments includes the

following:

1) Served as the database architect/ senior

DBA for the E-commerce project.

This included designing and implementing the

fail-over architecture using Advanced

Replication & Hot Standby Database, Oracle8i.

2) Installing, administering & tuning the

PeopleSoft Application databases for

the Production environment. I served as the

primary DBA for the upgrade of the

PeopleSoft application to version 7.5.2.

Additionally I am actively involved

in the design of the 3-tiered implementation

for the PeopleSoft application version

7.5.2.

3) Served as the senior DBA involved in the

physical design, administration&

tuning of the Information warehouse Database

currently sized over a terabyte.

4) Evaluation, selection and currently

implementation of an Enterprise

Monitoring Tool (Platinum ProVision EPM

Tools) for the production databases.

Additionally I have evaluated, recommended &

implemented several performance

monitoring/diagnostic tools such as

Platinums TS Reorg, SQLAB, OEM
