As a Council Certified Indoor Environmental Consultant, David Reed,

CIEC, has over 23 years experience in the building sciences, and the

physics of moisture intrusion, designing solutions for a host of building

types and situations. He has been involved with more than 7,500

investigations and specifications on more than 12,000 building sites to

resolve water and moisture issues.

David has served as a manufacturer's technical consultant for a variety of

waterproofing products, has authored many articles concerning moisture

intrusion, and has been a keynote speaker for building inspection and

architectural seminars.

David is a seasoned professional, having been involved in both

investigation of building systems failure, and product research and

development. He has worked with architects, builders, contractors,

subcontractors, inspectors, homeowners associations, property managers,

the military, and municipalities for design and remediation of waterproofing.

David currently or in the past has had membership in several professional

organizations including the Construction Specification Institute, RCI, ASTM

I nternational, Environmental Assessment Association, the Indoor

Environmental Standards Organization, and the American & Indoor Air

Quality Council. David is certified by the American & Indoor Air Quality

Council as a CIEC-(Council-Certified Indoor Environmental Consultant),

Environmental Assessment Association as CEI - (Certified Environmental

Inspector), and CRS - (Certified Remediation Specialist) and is certified as

a Moisture Management Inspector. David continues his education by
