than tripled traffic and revenue with successive product releases

through worldwide syndication, marketing, user-testing, and close

collaboration with our sales force. Sites included daily original

editorial, analyst reports, an IT hardware/software product catalog,

community/message boards, paid content and several directory systems.

Managed a cross-country team of 15 that included technology/IT, content

As CNET’s first Director of Community, developed CNET's overall

community strategy and responsible for increasing user-contributed

content and interaction on CNET sites by ten-fold. Managed

editorial, production and tech teams responsible for message boards,

Managed a department of 6 IT Project Managers, each responsible for the

development of systems requirements and project management of new

Project-Managed the IT development of Snap! Online, CNET’s first

consumer portal. As CNET’s first San Francisco-based technology

manager, developed key infrastructure required to build Snap--by far

the largest and most complex IT development effort undertaken there.

Successfully managed the on-time development of the web site and

several CD-ROM titles. Hired and managed partner consulting companies

to assist with development, quality assurance, and public beta programs.

commercialization of technology by selecting leading ISVs and

negotiating licensing terms.

Lead an international team of software engineers in the rapid

development of Data Warehouses and reporting tools for Apple Japan and

Apple Far East. Project set the standard for development of Data

Warehouse-based decision support solutions for Apple. Received awards

of recognition from Apple Pacific IS and the CIO. Demonstrated

solution at Apple’s Corporate Briefing Center, DBExpo, and Enterprise

Computing Conferences (Latin America & US).

Defined IT developer support services and training. Developed courses
