EXPERIENCE
NDS Surgical Imaging, Waltham, MA January to June 2010
Ensured radiology displays for were properly characterized and conformed according to DICOM medical standards required for PACS systems.
Used image processing knowledge to make light levels uniform across the displays.
Created and implemented a recursion test for the micros used on the displays.
Developed tests to ensure proper operation of monitors under various conditions.
Camp Dresser & McKee, Cambridge, MA January to June 2009
Designed electrical lighting systems in order to comply to the National Electric Code, NFPA 70, and NFPA 820 (Standard for fire protection in wastewater treatment plants).
Calculated room light levels in order to ensure energy code compliance.
Drafted AutoCAD representations of electrical building plans, single line diagrams and schedules.
Calculated fixture layout and spacing, circuiting, switching and panel loading/circuiting.
Performed power system load summary calculations.
Teradyne, North Reading, MA January to August 2008
Audited software used to test major aeronautic components aboard commercial aircraft. The audited software was a major moneymaker for Teradyne, allowing resources to be put towards a new hard drive testing unit.
Independently developed a C# program to automate parts of the auditing process, resulting in a faster auditing turnover.
Developed test procedures and conducting tests for hardware used to test hard drives from volume manufacturers. The procedures were used in order to successfully outsource the manufacturing of drive testers, cutting costs for Teradyne.
