12/2009 Present Global Studies Group, Baghdad, Iraq
As the Escort officer I was tasked with providing low profile security for US expats, TCN's and LN's in and out of hostile areas of Baghdad and throughout Iraq. I maintain access control for contractors to need to enter US Embassy property for daily and weekly projects. I correspond with the Regional Security Office to maintain current personnel information on a daily basis. I helped develop company SOPs and daily operating routes.
As the Badging coordinator my duties included processing individuals for US Embassy access badges and building rosters for all current personnel working inside the International Zone. Background checks and extensive interviewing was involved in this process.
Operations Manager
1/2007 12/2009 G4S Security, Overland Park, Ks.
In Jan. 07 I started with G4S Wackenhut as an Project Manager on call 24/7. After holding that position for two months my supervisor reviewed my performance and promoted me to Area Supervisor. As Area Supervisor I handled schedules and payroll for all of our retail business in the Kansas City area. I was also tasked with conducting reviews and performance appraisals of more than 150 security officers. I held that position for three months and was then promoted to the Operations Manager. As the Operations Manager I maintained all local accounts as well as all national accounts that were ran through the Kanasa City office. I also handled all of our office logistics and extra training that our officers might require. I attended quarterly progress meetings with clients such as Honeywell and Black Veatch. Other duties are performing site surveys and assisting the General Manager with the development and sales of new contracts.

The city of Linn Valley Kansas is a private gated community located 40 miles south of Kansas City.
Operational Security Team
10/2005 12/2006 Defense Intelligence Agency, Washington DC
I provided personal security to Department of Defense (DOD) personnel while conducting their operations in a hostel environment, Quick Reaction Force (QRF), and training for the DOD personnel assigned to us. Personal Security- Armed escort for DOD personnel operating in a non-permissive environment within IRAQ. During my tour I successfully planed and executed 112 missions into the red zone, Baghdad, Iraq, while simultaneously occupying the position as the compound designated marksman. My duties required an in depth knowledge of the area of operations due to the sensitivity and frequency of the missions. We provided valuable and time sensitive information on the atmospherics of the areas DOD personnel were assigned to operate within. This allowed the DOD personnel the ability to manipulate mission planning to ensure their safety and the overall success of the mission. I was to be prepared to assume tactical control of the mission when the element becomes engaged with enemy combatants. Security personnel are tasked with the responsibility of evacuation the DOD personnel from the engagement area by whatever means necessary. These procedures included (but not limited to); maintaining control of the vehicle and getting to a safe area as expeditiously as possible. If immobile, we were to secure protectees and move them to a safe zone and await QRF or engage the enemy to close and destroy. OST's maintain the skill set that was implemented during a rigorous training cycle directed by DOD prior to theater deployment. OST's are required to maintain that training while deployed and be responsible for ensuring the DOD personnel assigned are adequately prepared for each mission.
