Summary
I am a hard working and responsible new media professional with experience in online political campaigns. My skills range from writing standards-compliant code and working with Content Management Systems to copywriting and helping develop a client s message.
Experience:
Junior Strategy Associate, May 2011 - Present
Integral member of a team responsible for handling online campaign operations for high profile candidates such as DCCC Chairman Steve Israel and Congressman Alan Grayson as well as campaigns like Florida Watch Action s Pink Slip Rick and Pink Slip Mitt. Prepare all BuzzMaker sites for launch and provide coding expertise to fix and build websites. Maintain integrity of innovative campaigns such as the RoboCall Rick Scott initiative. Write and deploy results-driven fundraising emails, including Alan Grayson s $150,000 money bomb. Use Drupal and web code to develop, manage, and fix interactive web sites.
Communications Assistant, September 2009 - Present
Assist both the Jewish Studies and Israel Studies departments at the University of Maryland in publicizing events. Manage three websites, of which I have designed one and am in the process of redesigning another. Prepare print advertisements for local newspapers. Complete research for special projects.
Web Designer/Webmaster, January 2011 - Present
Responsible for online operations for the Sephardic Horizons journal and their parent non-profit organization, The Jewish Institute of Pitigliano. Keep both websites up to date, including publishing all issues of the online journal. Initiated and completed a redesign of both websites in 2011.

Performed tasks as required to help the legislative staff. Played a large role in getting co-sponsors and outside endorsements for the Freight FOCUS Act of 2011. Prepared memos for the Congresswoman. Helped set the Congresswoman s LGBT policy platform. Helped draft a piece of legislation, a task normally reserved for more senior staff members.
Gas Station Employee, February 2007 - February 2009
Campus Plaza Shell
Worked at both the gas station's car wash and Subway sandwich shop. During my time at Campus Plaza Shell, customers grew to know me as the employee who would go above and beyond for them every time. When the station had to deal with the unfortunate reality of the recession and decided to let me go, some customers that stopped going to Shell for car washes (the station at which I was last employd) because they knew that they would get far inferior service than when I had been employed there.
