Consultant/Project Manager 2007-present

- Supervise project team, as head of a $4.5M land mobile radio system special project for police, fire & public works departments.

- Multiple areas of responsibility encompass budgetary monitoring, coordination of all involved entities, development of bid specs, maintenance of project files, ensuring contractor compliance, project meetings, change orders, tracking, etc.

- Ensure that projected time frames and budgetary guidelines are met.

Communications Department Director 2002-2008

- Administrative accountability for $5M budget for the management of daily operating procedures in the 911 call center, including all electronic radios, security system, telecommunication system and electronics maintenance.

- Interviewed, hired, trained and evaluated 32 support staff.

- Wrote all RFPs for equipment purchasing and oversaw allocation of resources.

- Wrote staff reports, proposals and plans for elected/appointed officials and various commissions.

1992-2002 CITY OF FRESNO, CALIFORNIA

- Built a back-up communications center with all necessary equipment.

- Retained to set up and initiate operations of the new emergency communications program for police, fire and sheriff's departments for Polk and Marion Counties.
