SUMMARY
-My lack of work experience scares potential employers away from me. I KNOW that I need you more than you need me. -Only one person was hired after I was for the summer. I was the "new guy" for the whole time that I worked at Big Boy; and I held the least respected position in the business even though we held it all together. I hate to say it, but my pride is not too big to be swallowed when needed. When I worked as a dishwasher every single item in the kitchen, I washed repeatedly every single day; every day before I clocked out I had to clean the dish room top to bottom, thoroughly. If I worked as a busser that day; I had to sweep and mop every floor in the "front" of the restaurant, and thoroughly clean the bathrooms. Garbage removal was a shared effort amongst my fellow Busser/Dishwashers. I was almost always the last one out of the restaurant if I closed; and not because I won't work hard. I called in one time due to an unfortunate firework mishap, and was late one time because I locked my keys in my car the night before.
Accomplishments- I learned a lot from the only job I've been given the opportunity to have

-It takes more than just ME to run a successful business of any sort.
-Never have a comfort zone at work.
-All of the cliches that you hear constantly from "older" people, are overused for a reason. They're usually true.

-I maintained an over 3.0 gpa and scored a 26 on my ACT while competing in athletics every season (always varsity). While school was very important to me; wrestling for 10 years taught me more about life than school ever did. I was never expected to get a job as long as I performed well in academics first, and sports second.
