I am the Project Engineer for a project that has included as many as eight
developers. My responsibilities include interacting with the customer s technical
point of contact to set priorities, tasking, managing budgets, and software
development.

I worked on projects covering the entire software life cycle. I participated in
generating the statement of work, gathering requirements, developing estimates
for level of effort and schedules, writing/modifying software and documentation,
testing, and delivery. All projects involved modeling and simulation applications.
Existing applications were extended by developing new behavioral models,
modifying code and interacting with other simulations applications on HLA
networks. Projects required interacting with customers to resolve technical issues
via telephone, email, and on-site support.
I served as a technical lead for a small team, participated in the hiring of software
engineers and project engineers, and mentored new employees.

Research Assistant: November 2001 - December 2002

Research Assistant working with the GlueX Collaboration at Jefferson Lab, while
attending school full time. My primary responsibility was writing software, in Java,
to analyze and aid the interpretation of simulated data, for use in the construction
of the hardware trigger. This project served as the basis for my thesis.
