OBJECTIVE
I wish to find employment with an organization seeking written translation
services, namely English to Spanish (Latin America). I have an long
experience in translating documents, books, websites, applications and
others, and familiarity in using text processing and image software, as well
as programming experience I can bring to the translation industry. I m also
willing and able to learn any kind of tools and procedures concerning
translation services.

EXPERIENCE
Extensive experience as a freelancer English to Spanish translator in several
areas, mainly sciences and IT, translating papers, documents and works for
others inside the University. Others areas of expertise are translating
websites to approach Spanish speaking users, videogames, and role-playing
manuals.
The length of time in working with English materials for translation
purposes extend to approximately 10 years.

1999-2009: Freelance translations of IT documents, mostly done for
friends and family, and some professionally, but done pro-bono.
2010-2011: Initiated project with SeekTech Inc. for the translation of
the software and manuals related to one of their tools.
