Seeking A programmer/analyst position needing someone who can

effectively organize, blend and manage diverse management/enduser

needs, Lotus Notes Domino web sites, Lotus Notes application

development, data flows from other platforms and Lotus Notes system

administration.

Career direction Domino web site development and Lotus Notes

application development with a dash of Lotus Notes Administration as

needed.

Web sites are my first love. I have a strong common sense, strong

business sense and strong technical skills as well as a total

commitment to enduser needs for stable, timely, effective, cost

effective and easy to use applications.

My hats today (And yes, I am working more then 40 hours a week) HR

Intranet Domino web site webmaster, teacher and guide Design, develop,

and support HR Lotus Notes R4.1 applications Design, develop, and

support data flows into Lotus Notes Coordinate vendor development of

Lotus Notes applications with our existing infrastructure.

Manage/Maintain three NT 3.51 servers (RAID 5 HP Boxes) running Lotus

Notes R4.1 Manage all HR Lotus Notes administration Interface with our

Information Management department to share cc:Mail into Lotus Notes

Mail evolution (8,000+ seats) and HR application development Ongoing

management and support of UNIX/FOCUS legacy systems I designed and

developed over the last 5 years.

Important Lotus Notes applications I designed, developed and support

that are in use for more then two years 1) 1-800 HR Help desk call

tracking of over 30,000 employees by twelve call representatives, mail

enabled with workflow. 2) HR menu: Easy to use organization of all HR

Lotus Notes applications into non-HR, HR primary and HR secondary

server selection screens. 3) Labor tracking: capturing all work

efforts of our department.

Important recent Lotus Notes application groups 1) Domino Intranet web

site: Delivering over 10,000 dynamically allocated pages of HTML

information on our Intranet company wide. Supervising four content

providers, includes providing web page training and conversion of

Lotus Notes databases for effective presentation on the Web. I built

this site from the ground up. 2) Cross Functional Initiative: A group

of applications supporting HR teams who need to bridge physical

distance, department and management boundaries. 3) People books: Set

of applications providing employee specific information, organization

structure, and lookup tables used by all HR applications. 4) On-line

manuals: a diverse set of HR manuals I designed, or vendor developed,

or endusers created with my support that provide a corporate memory of

HR policy and procedures.

Why and I looking for another position: My UNIX/FOCUS legacy system

support can still consume twenty or more hours a week: locking me into

old technology. Web site master and collaborative applications'

development based on Lotus Notes are where I want to put all my

efforts.

Position: permanent

Collaborative environment wanted: Participation in a shared, team

environment must exist. Strong upper management support for

collaborative applications would be welcomed.

General physical region: Middle South East. That is, Raleigh to

Orlando: including Charlotte, Atlanta, New Orleans,

Relocation: I own a $65,000 condo (no mortgage, no debt, no children).

A number of options are acceptable. Suggestions: 1) Replace my condo

with something in the same price range; 2) One time lump sum to

compensate for my relocating myself; 3) factor relocation costs into

my salary and I will move myself.

Today's salary: I am earning a straight annual salary of $52,000 with

expectations of a 5 0ncrease in March.

Lotus Certification: My becoming a Lotus Notes Release 4.5 certified

professional within a reasonable length of time is an acceptable

requirement if the company will pick up the cost of my attending

daytime Lotus Notes courses.
