Diver and Lead Dive Tender
Responsible for above and below water operations. Ensure fluid operation of machinery in order to accomplish mission and to ensure the safety of Divers. Oversee deck operations including other Tenders and crew members. Coach new Tenders on safe and proper operations. Ensure overall emergency response readiness and maintain compliance with NOAA and local requirements. Perform Work Dives in water depths of up to 300 feet. Provide Emergency Medical treatment as required.

While utilizing various blueprint designation and electronic instruction, I located underground utility lines using both conductive and inductive methods. The process required knowledge of multiple types of locating equipment and required me to be obtain DOT Operator Qualifications when locating natural gas lines. I was also responsible for locating high voltage power lines. Accuracy was imperative and extremely safety sensitive when locating either so as not to allow underground damages which could lead to personal injury or death.
