Created custom RPC toolkit in Perl. Implemented a distributed system to extract and catalogue images,

movies, and audio from newsgroups.

Mixing Java and Perl; using java Castor library from perl. Implemented a custom OO RDBMS

mapping Perl library. Also, programmed with Tangram perl library.

Implemented: a exible template substitution toolkit in Perl; a persistent CGI framework.

Designed a database cache system to speed up a time consuming statistics computation by storing inter-

mediate results and refreshing them as necessary. Used UML and CRC cards to design this system.
