Designed and developed the Multi Asset Inflation Index calculator application. New designed DJI calculator is multi-threading Java applications running on AIX/Linux, accommodating variety of real time market data as index components including stocks, bonds, commodities, exchange rates, internal and external financial indices, improving scalability and functionality over the existing calculation engines, and supporting wide range of index products, calculation formula and data types. Designed and developed the new version of the real time calculation engine, finalized the calculator functions and user interactive events such as corporate actions, exchange changes, component changes, simulated the real time testing cases and conducted quality assurance in data accuracy, clearing the way for the new DJI calculator launched in June 2011. Designed and developed new version DJI calculator snapshot functions which use a separate thread from the main calculation engine, Invoked by scheduler or user interaction, it collects components prices, weight factors and currency exchange rates of real time market data and related index values without interrupting main calculation threads, sends all the data in one calculation cycle to Sybase snapshot table via JDBC. Snapped Index values and underlying components data should be synchronized. (Java/Multi-Threading/Sybase).

Designed and developed the high performance low latency new real time DJI Index Calculation engine - DjiBlade. The DjiBlade is a multi thread interval-based real time java application running on AIX with more scalability, adaptability and reliability, containing multiple modules such as Gateway, Dispatcher, TickEventHandler, RtCalculator, Desseminator, and framework.

Designed and developed main module TickEventHandler which receiving real time market data.

Designed and implemented the Abacus application for Qwest Cyber Center, which is highly reliable internet hosting facilities.

Abacus system is a web-based user-interface application that provide quote configuration for Qwest products and services.

The system use Netscape server as web server that has core functionality in JSP and communicate Abacus client server by using XML over HTTP POST.

Also, the system use WebLogic as application server to host EJBs that control all business logic and access to ORACLE database.

Responsibilities include design and writing EJBs for configuration, validation, pricing and accessing the ORACLE database.

The purpose of the project is to set up a document classification system, which provides a user friendly graphical interface to enable the convenient access to the Oracle RDBMS.

The coding procedure is compiled by JDK 1.0.2 and connected to oracle database with JDBC-ODBC 1.1.
