I am presently employed by the City of Dallas as a full time police officer.I am currently assigned to Dallas Love Field Airport as an explosive detection canine handler where I have served for the past seven(7) and a half years. My duties are to maintain a very high level of security for the airport and the entire City of Dallas. I am responsible for responding to and dissolving any potential explosive related calls at the airport or within the City of Dallas where an explosive detection canine can be utilized. I also conduct very high level security dignitary sweeps for any local and visiting dignitaries that require explosive detection canine protection within the city of Dallas which may include US Presidential, Vice Presidential, and Foreign Leading Heads of other countries which visit .I have received several commendations and awards throughout my career as a police officer where I have served assignments in street patrol, investigative units, and public relations units.I have managed to maintain a high training level and proficiency level during my present canine assignment. I have served as a very loyal dedicated officer for the City of Dallas for the last twenty-five(25 years) and continue to do so.

Explosive Detection Canine Handler:

Completed 10 weeks explosive detection canine course and school at Lackland Air Force Base on October 10, 2005.

Attended 2010 explosive detection canine conference in November 2010.

Requested by Lackland Air Force Base explosive detection training personnel to demonstrate new explosive bag detection exercise in September 2007.

Successfully passed every annual state certified explosive detection canine test evaluation with high results from 2006-2012.
