AchievementsScoring Co-ordination of a Athletics Carnivals – 2010 / 11

In October of 2010, I received a Notice of Commendation for coordinating the scoring for the entire Primary Interhouse Athletics Carnival at John Septimus Roe ACS. I was offered this position as a result of having worked collaboratively on both the Senior and Interschool Athletics Carnivals earlier that year. Following my valuable coordination in 2010, I was offered the position of scoring coordinator for both the Senior, Middle-school and Primary Athletic Carnivals in 2011. For all these events I was required to setup all necessary computer and scoring equipment before the students arrived. During the day of the carnival, my knowledge of several computer program’s enabled me to direct and work co-operatively with my team to ensure that we distributed the results quickly and efficiently to the relevant staff members.Academic Award Prize Winner 2010 / 11 / 12

In 2010, I was awarded with an Academic Certificate and Medal for being the highest performing student in both Applied Information Technology and Computer Aided Design (Design and Technology) classes.

Further more in both 2011 and 2012, I was again awarded with the Applied Information Technology Academic Certificate and Medal two years in a row respectively.Newbury House Vice-Captain 2011

In 2011, I was appointed as the vice-captain of my school house called Newbury. In order to achieve this position it was necessary for me to be nominated by my fellow peers, then write and confidently deliver a speech to the assembled student members of the house. This is an important achievement which comes with the responsibilities of being part of the Student Leadership Group. It has also given me the opportunity to attend various leadership training sessions, and the honour of being part of important assembles and ceremony’s conducted throughout the school calendar.Newbury House Prefect 2012

The following year in 2012, I was appointed House Prefect after being a House Vice-Captain in 2011. To get this position, I was elected by the teaching staff of John Septimus Roe ACS to be once again part of the Student Leadership Group in my last year attending the high school.General Flying Progress Test (Australia)

After passing a Basic Aeronautical Knowledge exam earlier in the year, I achieved my General Flying Progress Test in July of 2012 after many hard months of practical and theoretical study. This has allowed me to pilot an aircraft with passengers on-board and fly them to and from the Jandakot Airport and a Flying Training Area south of the areodrome. From this point I move into studying navigation, and then my Private Pilot Licence exam at the end of the year.
