Recommendations
Yvonne Ng (External Outreach Manager, MIT OpenCourseWare) Francis is an amazing volunteer at
MIT OpenCourseWare. He serves as a key MIT recruiter for the OCW Mirror Site Program that o ers
free copies of the OCW website to educational institutions that have issues with connecting online. Francis
has taken the initiative to promote and recruit MIT students traveling abroad to help make local
connections for the program and he s been an incredible troubleshooter for the technical issues that come
from the Mirror Site A liates. He s responsive, dependable and extremely helpful to our program.
Abhishek Nagaraj (Ph.D. Student, MIT Sloan) Francis writes wonderful code. He understands how to
make code readable, succinct and yet fully functional. I managed Francis as a graduate student at the MIT
Mobile Innovation Group where Francis wrote web crawlers and parsers for us. We used mysql, python,
perl. javascript and web markup all of which Francis understands really well. He is diligent, timely and
sincere and will make a great addition to any development team. I recommend Francis for most technical
development and management roles.
