Worked primarily on design development & prototyping for an innovative new daylight delivery system. Also

TA ing for three classes, twice each, in my time at MIT. Classes span the sociotechnical spectrum of design:
Geometric Discipline & Design Skills, Fall 2009 & 2010. Teaching of representational skills & complex
geometric thinking to incoming M.Arch Students. Responsibilities included teaching of 3D CAD
Software and advanced rendering programs. Instructor: Joel Lamere.
Structural Systems I, Spring 2010 & 2011. Solely responsible for teaching structural design principles for
graduate lab section. Professor: John Ochsendorf.
Architecture Design Studio, IAP & Fall 2011. Undergraduate architectural design studio; teaches
spacemaking by alternating between 2D and 3D operations. Instructor: Joel Lamere.
LightSolve Interface Designer, Summer 2009.
Solely responsible for the design and programming of intuitive new software to help architects evaluate
daylighting implications in their projects. Supervised by professor Marilyne Anderson in the department of
Building Technology at MIT.
Koetter Kim & Associates Intern, 2008.
In charge of model making and photography.
BrightProofs, 2006-2008. Independent Project.
Created server-side software enabling photographers to upload digital images from any computer with internet
access. Drag and drop creation of custom-branded browsable galleries with shopping cart functionality.
Developed from scratch.
Living Photography Owner, 2005-present.
Sole proprietor of a successful wedding photography business; prior to enrolling in architecture school,
photography work was full-time employment. Award-winning photographs on display at the Wedding

Skills / Hobbies: Carpentry and set building, furniture design & building, fine woodworking. Experienced with
