Managed a department of 28 people. Staff that I supervised included, technicians,
electricians, pipefitters, welders, ac/r mechanics, control technicians, auto
mechanics, 3 first line supervisors and an administrative aide.
Supervised and administered installation of all new production lines.
Supervised and administered maintenance of all high speed packaging, food
processing equipment and a sugar products tank farm.
Developed and programed a computerized equipment maintenance system(Dbase
III) of work orders, preventitive maintenance and machine histories
As a lead electrician:
Established an electrical department capable of installing switchgear, conduit
systems, and control technology.
Supervised the work of three electricians and was responsible for their training in
NEC codes, ANSI standards of electrical diagrams, and the fundamentals of
control technology.
Supervised and administered the installation of all new production equipment and
the maintenance of high speed packaging and food processing equipment for a
facility with an annual production of 28 million dollars of confectioneries.
Installed and programmed SQUARE D SYMAX programable controllers in the
"relay logic" language.
Designed and built numerous control panels and control systems utilizing both
conventional electro-mechanical controls and newer programable controllers.
Designed, and installed various motor control centers, feeders, load centers and
service equipment; sized wire and conduit; all to NEC specifications.
Established reliable vendor support for specialized projects.
As a journeyman electrician worked on:
