As the Social Media Manager and Art Director, I created a Corporate Brand for a local startup healthcare company, built their web presence and grew their credibility online through major social media platforms. Within six months, I was able to break into an extremely closed online community (patients with Hemophilia and other bleeding disorders) and establish us as leader in education and advocacy. Through email and direct mail programs, I built a database of potential customers to hand off to the sales reps in order to increase profits.

High School Art Teacher

January 2008-June 2008

Worked as a teacher and mentor at a public high school. Then the State of California ran out of money and districts started firing new teachers. Oh well.

Head Creative Writer and Story Designer

January 2005-June 2006

Writer for a major video game developer. Created game concepts, characters, storyline, and dialogue. Helped finish Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks. Worked on a long list of game concepts that were not released (or have yet to be released).

Worked with Creative Writers at other Midway studios across the world to post online updates of games in development to our websites, in order to keep fans interested in upcoming titles and prepare them to spend their money on our games!

Worship & Music Assistant

Was the right-hand man for the Worship and Music Pastor. Ran music rehearsals, created song arrangements, managed technical teams (sound, lights, and video), and coordinated special events. Was instrumental in getting new people involved in the weekend worship team.
