Receiving of truck from start to end. Saving time efficiently processing merchandise on to floor, allowing

it to be out for customers in a timely fashion. Insured merchandise was put in correct classifications and

set to metric standards and hard tagged if needed to be. Oversaw all loss prevention specialist, ensuring

they were in position while maintaining safe and secure environments and minimizing operations by

overseeing cashiers were scanning and bagging merchandise.

Insured front end of store was calling for back-up when needed so there was no more then three

customers waiting at a time. Oversaw the start program in place and associates were sizing properly

and signing off on there work after being audited. Prepared assignments for day and breaks and lunches

for associates. Answered to store manager and district manager when needed. Drove great contribution

while monitoring sales plan and payroll to budget. I was responsible for opening of store or closing of

store each day. I also was responsible for hiring, training all associates for wins and opportunities on

a daily basis, ensuring they all walked the shortage highway while ensuring they were engaging of the

10 foot rule of saying hello to all customers and other proper etiquette. I also headed up the mark down

team ensuring all mark downs were properly done with in the time frame scheduled.

I have had customers write letters to corporate office on my behalf praising me for my customer service

and have followed me from location to location. I was employee of month after three months of service

to company. I started seasonal and worked very hard to stay on after the holidays; to full time as an area

supervisor of hard lines. I was promoted to assistant manager with two years of area supervisor.

All my customers loved my service as well as did my associates they all stated I was the hardest working

manager, always willing to help with what ever needed to be done. I always have strived on going the

extra mile. As with out Happy Customers you can not strive in today's economy.
