Expert in the field of visualization. Extensive use of computers to design, develop and present ideas in 3D for a
wide range of industries including automotive, avionics, and architecture. Throughout my career
I have utilized 2D/3D CAD modeling software, visualization tools and graphics applications to produce realistic
product simulations. Integrating these concepts into the design process has also allowed me to develop
advanced training and maintenance tools that are both dynamic and cost effective.
EXPERIENCE
PRESIDENT, INTERACTA INC. 1995 - PRESENT
Design and develop 3D computer models using various CAD and 3D rendering applications to help clients
visualize their products and assist them in marketing their ideas to investors, planning groups, review
committees, developers and end users.
Design, review, analyze 3D models and provide feedback. Enhanced 3D models to develop simulations,
animations, and interactive presentations to accurately present designs.
Develop custom tools and applications to solve and present complex problems or solutions.
SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEER, GENERAL DYNAMICS LAND SYSTEMS, GOLETA, CA 2001 - 2003
Designed and managed the development of Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations for the
division's defense products. Coordinated the first fully embedded simulation trainer for the US Stryker
Remote Weapon Station.
Managed a Research and Development (R&D) team developing state-of-the-art training materials and
maintenance products using virtual and augmented reality. Identified needs, generated proposals, selected
hardware and developed internal virtual reality lab. Determined requirements and managed R&D efforts for
outdoor tracking system with Malibu Research Center.
SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEER, GM DEFENSE, GOLETA, CA 1994 - 2001
Designed and developed training devices and graphical user interfaces for military applications.
Requirements definition, project scheduling, content selection, storyboard generation, interface designs,
programming, video and image editing, animation, media integration, and product testing.
Established a multimedia lab for cross platform development of multi-lingual computer based training, videos,
wall charts, intuitive test interfaces, and professional marketing material.
SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER, DELCO ELECTRONICS, GOLETA, CA 1987 - 1994
Responsible for design, analysis, prototype, production and scheduling of electronic packaging designs from
concept to production for high volume automotive and advanced avionic computers.
Received a patent for developing a circuit board support system.
Coordinated internal and out-source development of mechanical components, PWBs, CCAs and assemblies
on schedule driven programs both domestic and international.
Developed extensive computer skills, including Pro-engineer, Vellum, and AutoCAD, to reduce product design
time by generating CAD models and product simulations.
