Picked by General Manager to form a 2-man team to take over and reform

operational management. Took over management at project site and direct

responsibility for 400+ employees. Quickly expanded role to include

business strategy and financial planning.

Key achievements

Managed approximately 400+ employees

Brought in first harvest with untrained personnel and no logistical

support (dryer, mill, grain carts etc.)

Planned and implemented reduction of workforce by approximately 150

employees.

Developed several logistical systems adapted for local conditions: fuel

tracking (Excel + VBA), machine operations, machine maintenance.

Enforced rigid control on operational expenditure and oversaw vast

improvement in financial reporting.

Wrote company business plan and financials along with numerous

operational plans.

Handled coordination with local government (district and county) and

national ministries. Received dignitaries, press and appeared on

(Program consisting of conference, round-table and lobbying efforts)

Key achievements

Organized conference in Swedish Parliament with the chairman of Truth

and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) of Liberia as keynote speaker.

Successfully lobbied the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the

Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA) to grant US$1M to

the TRC of Liberia.
