Audubon Engineering Operations - Quality Coordinator Present
* Member of the Quality Group reporting to the Director of Quality. Responsibilities include overseeing the Management of Review process as defined by the Quality Management System (QMS) to assess its overall effectiveness and ensure objectives are being met. Interpret and verify implementation of quality assurance standards/procedures to ensure compliance to the QMS. Review internal and external project audit documentation, non-conformance reports, and corrective/preventative actions. Review Engineering Projects, applying utilization criteria to determine the need for corrective actions or NCR`s.
* Played integral role in working with the Procurement Group in developing the Vendor Qualification Process. Worked to define Vendor Survey Questionnaire`s used in qualifying vendors as well as rating the performance of existing vendors. Served as liaison for all documentation transmitted between company and vendors, as well as scheduler for all audit activities.
* Played integral role in vendor selection for new Supplier Management Software program. * Accountable for overseeing a group responsible for design, modification, development, and application of mechanical and electro-mechanical products for current and anticipated sales, and the provision of engineering support during the marketing and manufacturing cycles. Design Engineering Group consisted of direct employees including Engineers, Designers, and Analysts. Group functioned in the development of new products and technologies, as well as modification of existing products, for the Riser, BOP, BOP Stack, BOP Stack Controls, and Motion Compensation product lines.

Responsibilities included meeting with various regulatory agencies such as API, DNV, ABS, and ISO as well as our customers in order to show that the Pressure Control Engineering Group is in compliance with all licensing and statutory requirements. Responsibilities included creation, monitoring and control, and adherence to all internal processes to meet all established requirements.
* Responsible for establishing a training -function- within the PCG Engineering group. Responsibilities included overseeing the coordination and tracking of all training activities, developing actual training material and methodologies, choosing the best -delivery vehicle- for the training (online E-training, classroom instructor-led, etc and working with our Technical College staff for development of training material. Responsibilities also included facilitation of overall staff development by tracking personnel objectives and coordinating career growth and development paths through the use of a training matrix whereas training for the PCG Engineering department was custom tailored for each and every individual employee.

* Accountable for talent competency and retention as the PCG Engineering recruiter. Duties included working with outside recruiting agencies as well as with our own internal Taleo talent management system. Responsibilities included being an integral part of the interview and evaluation team, attending regular meetings with our plant and corporate HR representatives, as well as working job fairs in order to locate appropriate talent.
* Project Manager responsible for the implementation of Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management software. Overall responsibilities included overseeing the project teams responsible for driving part classification, workflow process definition, existing data migration, integration of our existing MRP system, and PRO-E integration. Also designated as the PCG Engineering representative on the plant-wide team for the Oracle E-Business Suite product implementation project.
FMC Technologies - Design Coordinator/Team Lead 2000 - 2008
* Coordinated design effort interfacing between project lead engineers, Subsea product engineering teams and the Design/Drafting group to help develop project requirements, oversee project scheduling and budgeting of manpower, track project progress and milestone reporting, support manufacturing and provide work assignments to designers and drafters. Led design effort for multiple Shell projects. Played key role in several subsea tree upgrade projects for BP and Chevron/Texaco.

Prepared designs and layouts that defined equipment concepts or the basic functional characteristics of systems, components, structures, or equipment. By providing dedicated support, ECO`s were processed through the system in 48 hours or less, reducing product assembly down time.

* Delivered design support on a cross-functional standardization team by helping to establish parameters based on engineering design guidelines, and then converting that information into web pages for a company Intranet.
* Initiated the process to identify an alternate manufacturer for a leaky high purity gauge by researching data, contacting manufacturers, setting up meetings, and creating a complete specification package used for bid proposals by prospective manufacturers.
