maintained the database end of a single program that performed
multiple functions. This integrated software included a spreadsheet,
database, and communications program rolled into one application.
Specifically as the on-site Database Administrator(DA) I was
responsible for managing the health and welfare of ADS(Automated
Declassification System) data files that contain images, indexes, text
and communications that are the product of the ADS processes, their
storage, and subsequentrelease and/or transfer to external sources. In
particular, my responsibilities were to: - Maintain the ADS Data
Dictionary - Review and approve/disapprove changes to the ADS data
formats and/or fields - Upgrade/modify and test changes to ADS data
fields and/or formats before im- plementation - Update and maintain
approved user access lists and privileges - Record and monitor user
database accesses - Retrieve and review data files and isolate,
identify,repair database discrepancies - Acquire and apply required
encryption/decryption applications (as required) - Communicate with
internal and external users - Purge ADS data/files in compliance with
requirements - Recover data and or files inadvertantly deleted by user
- Maintain a record of all database actions; - Keep alert to
system/database activities access/anomalies - Experience with Oracle
Context Option.

- 8/97DataBase Developer, Vitro Corporation/Tracor Systems
Engineering, Prepared and assisted in the upgrade of Oracle Financials
to version 10.6 from version 9.6. Supported the implementation of the
Smart Client GUI and character based interface for Oracle Financials
versions 10.6 and 10.7 using the DEC Alpha Server with Open VMS.

alone Smart Client GUI using Developer/2000.
