areas of interest include Semantic Web, Linking Open Data, Large scale Data Integration, Semantic

o Pursue research on semantic search, semantic data analysis, and user modeling.

o Combined with Sentiment Analysis, Social Network Analysis and Data Mining, designed and

implemented a data driven and semantic user model based ethnic restaurant search system.

o Played a primary role in the project of semantic search, integration and analysis of heterogeneous

and distributed PB business data

Applied Information Retrieval and Semantic Web technologies to design and implement

an Ontology based PB linking open data system.

Mashed up heterogeneous and distributed PB business data including the geo data

(MapInfo), the demographic data, and the PB service/product/customer data and so on.

o Played an important role in the project of PB context aware computing platform

Designed and implemented a hybrid reasoning engine prototype using Description Logic

reasoning and Rule based reasoning.

Designed and developed a group of user context ontologies to understand user context.

o Published 7 papers in ISWC2010, CIKM2010, ICSC2011, WI2010, SSWS2011 and IWEST2010.

o Designed and developed an inverted RDF term index to integrate distributed and heterogeneous

data sources for the Semantic Web.

o Designed and implemented four query optimization algorithms to support the query answering

over the inverted RDF term index for the Semantic Web.

o Designed and developed a benchmark LCDBM (Lehigh Customizable Data Driven Benchmark)
