I was responsible for overall project management from
schematic design through successful completion. Overseen
design development and coordinated with design professionals
involved. Worked with the design, team estimating, cost
analysis, value engineering, tracking and advising owners of
the budget. Secure required permits. Supervise, manage and
support project team. Overseen project controls including
budgets, direct costs, contracts, purchase orders, change
orders, scheduling and reporting to senior management.
Prepared monthly project forecast. Supervise, mentor and
perform regular performance evaluations for employees under

1998 - 2007 Project Manager, Wespac Construction, Inc.
I managed larger and more unique projects. I was responsible
for maintaining the overall project budget. Buyout the
project effectively and make sure all scopes of work were
covered. Write subcontracts, coordinate changes to the
projects, conduct weekly jobsite meetings, prepare and update
project schedules, maintain repore with the Owner, Architect,
Engineers and Subcontractors, and make decisions to maintain
the budget and schedule. I also facilitated design assist
with Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical engineers.
1995 - 1998 Project Engineer, Summit Builder Construction Company
Successfully reviewed submittals, generated request for
information, assisted in buying out the project, assisted in
creating and updating the project schedule, maintained repore
with the Owner, Architect and Subcontractors, and obtained
and organized closeout packages. I was promoted to Project
Manager upon successfully demonstrating proficient Engineer
responsibilities.
1985 - 1990 (Before College) Residential Rough Frame Carpenter, Schuck & Sons Construction Co.
Stick frame construction with 2x4 and 2x6 walls with
prefabricated wood trusses for residential track homes. I
learned about man-hour production rates and how to read
blueprints. It was a teamwork mentality to build houses
right the first time. There was a sense of accomplishment and
pride after completing a house in less time than was allotted.
