Quality Engineer / Supervisor
Began at Tiffany working as a Supplier Quality Engineer in 2002. Implemented a receiving inspection program that identified critical areas in need of inspection and documentation. The program included bringing suppliers to a level of certification and no inspection and allowed for monthly reporting and communication with suppliers on their performance to ensure continuous improvement.
In 2009 worked as Quality Supervisor with responsibility in ensuring only product of superior quality was shipped to our stores. Implemented a quality auditing program so that issues could be caught and addressed prior to final inspection. Also implemented a formal corrective action system to ensure issues were resolved permanently by establishing true root cause. Responsibilities included - Lead corrective action board, Lead auditing program, Document Control coordinator, Data creation/reporting/analysis, supervising 9 inspectors, dealing with supplier and customer quality issues.
