-I am current employed as a contract investigator retained by the Federal Investigative Services, U.S. Office of Personnel Management. During this time, I was given the duties of conducting background, single-scope, and national security investigations for the United States government, contract agencies, and Department of Defense (DOD). I have also been given training in providing security guidance for conducting on-site security inspections at DOD contractor facilities, making sure such facilities comply with requirements mandated by the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). My areas of specialty include: information security (INFOSEC), communications security (COMSEC), private investigation and security, and security management. Furthermore, I have presented my investigative findings in report format to adjudication officials and cleared personnel. I have provided on-the-job training and mentoring to several new investigators and colleagues as well, which has focused on areas such as prioritization, report writing, and regulations and policy. I have also used investigative techniques to inquire about security violations. I have managed a caseload of as many as one to three dozen cases at any given moment.

-Worked as a Diplomatic Security Officer for the Uniformed Protective Services Program within the Bureau of Diplomatic Security at the Department of State. During this time, was responsible for enforcing security measures and access control, observing and reporting security flaws and suspicious behaviors, and protecting government employees, property, and visitors of the State Department. I also handled, maintained, and secured classified and sensitive material.

-Three sections of approximately 30 students each, a class which focuses on the Court system in the United States and the actors involved within the system. Major focus includes: state and federal court structure, prosecutors, defense attorneys, judges, and juries.
CRJU 238: Corrections, Fall 2006 (Radford University)
-Two sections of approximately 30 students each, a class which focuses on the Correctional system in the United States. Major focus includes: prisons and jails, the historical development of corrections in the United States, probation and parole, and the corrections work world.
CRJU 410: Juvenile Justice, Spring 2006 (Radford University)
-40 students, a class which focuses on the study and function of juvenile justice system, the process within the system, and the youth who become involved in these processes. Major focus includes: intake, adjudication, juvenile crime, the history of juvenile justice, and
diversion.
CRJU 100: Introduction to Criminal Justice, Fall/Spring 2005, Fall/Spring 2004 (Radford University)
-Two sections of approximately 35 students each, a class which focus on an introduction to the basics and fundamentals of the criminal justice system in the United States. Major focus includes: policing, corrections, the judicial system, and criminological theories.
