Job History / Details:
I took radio and TV broadcasting in college from 1974 to 1977 and was the announcer for some commercials for Southwest Missouri State University. I enjoyed producing commercials and from 1979 to 1984 I produced radio features that were syndicated. From 1985 to now I have produced a cable TV program which features future technology I illustrate with my drawings. I have recorded over 140 programs.
I have also had three science fiction books published and for the last 40 years have composed Christian and classical music. In August I gave eight pieces of classical music to the Saint Louis Symphony for its consideration and over 30 songs to Morningstar Music Publishers in Fenton, Misouri.
I have written editorial letters that have been published in various papers since 1975 and was a major contributer for the program "Sound Off" which aired on WHUD for a few years. I have also called into radio talk shows since 1992 and found that format very interesting and perfect for my interests which tend to be toward future technology and the future in general.
My interest in announcer goes back to junior high when I was often used as the narrator for various plays and stories in English class. Many people, even Bob Grant on WABC, have said I have an announcer's voice. I would like to see if my voice and other talents can allow me to make a living.
