Fritz Winery, Winemaker, Harvests 2002 thru 2007:
First three years consulted with Merry Edwards.
Restructure Chardonnay, Zinfandel & Cabernet sources and created 6 new Reserve and Tasting Room wines.
Renovation of winery, crush pad, waste water & fresh water system.
Managed 20 acres and a 50% replant of estate vyds and acted as Grower Relations person to all purchased fruit
sources.
Managed 1.2 million dollar Production Budget for 18,000 cases and 14 wines. Responsible for efficiency &
style of all winemaking/production operations and general operation of the winery.
Gallo Sonoma, Research Enologist (Gina Gallo), Harvest 2001:
in charge of design, organization, administration and production of 2-ton research lots. Lots include various
viticultural and winemaking treatments.
Felton Road Vyds. & Winery, Central Otago, New Zealand. (Blair Walters), Harvest 2000:
Assisted winemaker in all aspects of vinification of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling. The
stay included a month of wine tasting throughout the viticultural areas.
Ch teau Le Bon Pasteur, Pomerol, Bordeaux. (Michel Rolland), Harvest 1999:
grape sampling in Pomerol and St. Emilion. Vinification at Bon Pasteur included all operations as well as
concentration of musts and micro-oxygenation. Fall pruning at Dom. Dujac, Burgundy (Jacques Seysses),
followed by extensive wine tasting in the Loire, Alsace, Rhone, Piedmonte, Mosel and Nahe.
