This project involved integrating and custom session tracking customers who log into retrieve content from the SEC web site. A web based customer service system for content management was integrated to a billing and tracking system via the integration server. The system was developed with a custom queuing interface. A multithreaded RMI based customer server and individual customer monitors were developed to track and bill customers as they navigate and retireve content from the SEC site using preset formulaes and rates. The platform was in Java, RMI, Java Threads, DB2.

It links, responds and synchronizes to functional packages and protocols (ie: CRM, ERP, SMTP, IMAP, MQSeries, XML) within the enterprise and across partner enterprises. It is a metadata driven system.

The server is based on a hub and spoke architecture and has an API level integration through their adapter to various packages. Its uniqueness is it allows for business process implementation in the form of collaborations to occur within the ICS and also provides generic business objects whose functionality any implementation can extend. The communication protocols are standard TCP/IP & HTTP/S gateway and a Visibroker CORBA implementation. Its transactional and configuration metadata information is held on a choice of DB2, Oracle or MSSQL DBs. The adapters are designed to work as a stand alone agent and can integrate to the WebSphere interchange server (ICS) or the WebSphere MQ integrator (WMQI).

Responsibilities:

* Design & Programming middleware Integration components, adapter and messaging

* Coding Business Objects, Process components, implementing framework callbacks

* Develop test harnesses for unit testing and validate the accuracy of the logic implemented

* Interacting with the Architects to define Tasks, Standards and Processes
