de Ryss Design
I am a designer because one of the most important things in life is to do what you love and do it well. I am a third year Design student
in the Interactive Arts & Technology department at Simon Fraser University, studying interdisciplinary design across digital design,
informatics and media arts.
Though surrounded by fine arts all my life, my early academic study was primarily in sciences and writing. Design is creation, or
adaptation of form through ingenuity and resourcefulness the creation of something greater, unique, and more constructive than
before. I strive to design form worth using, and remembering.

I am an avid outdoor enthusiast and enjoy remote expeditions. I hope someday these passions collide with my design pursuits, as
I would love to work in branding, design, or cinematography and editing for professional extreme sports.
ZinZines are abstract sharpie graphics (seen above) I began doing in my spare time, and were inspiration that lead me towards
graphics and design. I hope to some day print them in gear or branding attire .
