Responsibilities included directing and coordinating activities of multiple technical consultants, environmental consultants, permitting, an engineering & design group, corporate staff in Venezuela and the corporate office. Managed work on optimizing project economics by evaluating many alternatives and supported by cash flow analysis. Responsible for directing activities of the EPCM contractor. In addition, evaluation of new projects, possible acquisitions and business opportunities.

* Completed Feasibility Study for Brisas; a large scale mine and mill project in southeast Venezuela.

* Responsible for reports compliant with NI 43-101 requirements.

* Solicited proposals from International EPCM firms, selected and completed contractual agreement.

* Completed International Environmental & Social Impact Assessment.

* Design, engineering, social and environmental work meet Equator Principles for Bank Financing.

* Maintained cash cost of $256/ounce with 0.021 ounce/ton ore grade.

* Achieved 1.5 million man-hours without a lost time accident.
